The Loss of the two studio heads at IW is no recent news. They got shit canned a while ago, for some undisclosed reasons. However what is new at IW is that they have lost a total of 9 employees since this happened, and those who left have big plans!
In addition the former employees have started up a new Developement Studio Called Respawn Entertainment. They have partnered up with EA as their publisher. We all know they got the financial support, MW2 was/will be a huge source of cash once they get their deserved royalties. They also aren't short on talent and certainly know how to produce an Triple A title, it will sure be interesting to see what they produce in the future. Their court date with Activision is on June 21st, so expect to see a bunch of new information shortly thereafter. Anything until then will most likely be speculation. Check the following links, for more information on the Lawsuit filed by the former IW heads, and for information on the counter suit filled by Activision. Despite all of this, and the confusion on who exactly has the rights to the Modern Warfare franchise, there have been leeks that IW is already starting work on a MW3. In other related news, Treyarch is working on the 7th installment of the Call of Duty Series, Black Ops, and of course the big question on everyones mind... Is Nazi Zombies going to be in it? well... Hell Yes.. its probably going to be called something else and have some other form of zombies other than Nazis in it but you can certainly count on a zombie survival mode. What would World at War be without out?
